About the Role A Senior Director in Construction Solutions is responsible for leading FTI's client services on construction matters and taking a senior role when engaged as part of a larger multi-discipline team. The services we provide include consulting project advisory on planned or live projects plus dispute resolution services on live or completed projects. Many of our matters involve large and complex construction projects where the Senior Director undertakes detailed analysis and investigation to understand the issues related to construction delays and additional costs, and then communicates the results to the client or counsel. For the Senior Director (Quantum) position we seek professionals with qualifications in accounting, quantity surveying, engineering, or similar, with experience in conducting forensic analysis of construction costs and in preparing expert reports. Candidates should have a strong interest in developing their career in the field of dispute resolution. What You'll Do When providing project advisory services, the Senior Director (Quantum), is responsible for financial and construction project related analysis. This often involves detailed investigation and sophisticated analysis of construction project accounts and cost data. Services may include assisting the client to review costs incurred or related to specific events or change orders, preparing quantum claims on a client's behalf, reviewing and advising on claims received, or in providing strategic advice relating to claim issues. The Senior Director (Quantum) is responsible for oversight of ongoing projects, including interaction with legal counsel, client personnel, other team members, contractors, and others involved in the engagement. When providing dispute resolution services, the Senior Director (Quantum), is responsible for performing detailed review and analysis of project documents, contract claims, and expert reports to assess extended performance and impact costs. You will likely be working with an engagement team to assist a client and legal counsel through negotiations, mediation, arbitration, or other legal proceedings. You will be expected to assist in growing FTI Construction Solutions business by providing superior client services. Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Banking, Loans & InsuranceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
