On behalf of our client, Procom requires a SAP FI/Treasury Analyst to support SAP FI/Treasury business processes; from day-to-day support, month end and year end processes, through to requirements gathering, configuration and testing new solutions.
SAP FI/Treasury Configuration Analyst Job Details
- Candidates for this role may be at intermediate or senior level in regards to their SAP knowledge and configuration skills. As a result, consideration will be made on the appropriate ladder based on experience.
- Business Process Integration and Optimization (BPIO) Team is responsible for the design, development and support of the business processes enabled through SAP.
- The Team is comprised of Application Development, Basis and Security; Change Management, Governance and Learning; Business Analytics, Reporting and Master Data Management; Project Services; and Integrated Business Process Management (IBPM).
- The IBPM team collaborates with its business partners to align SAP configuration and functionality with business processes that help our client to deliver on its growth strategy.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant, SAP FI/Treasury Configuration Analyst, will be based out of Calgary
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provides front line end-user support and configuration for the SAP FI/Treasury module;
- Configures the SAP system according to new or changing business requirements;
- Supports capital projects and day to day production support;
- Performs and coordinates unit, integration and acceptance tests;
- Coordinate workshops and gather business requirements
- Manages assigned FI/Treasury incidents to resolution;
- Liaises with Financial user community to identify and manage system priorities;
- Assists Development Team members in design and testing of interfaces, enhancements, reports and data conversions in the Development & Quality System and implement them in the Production system;
- Develops in-depth knowledge of SAP cross module financial integration points.
SAP FI/Treasury Configuration Analyst Mandatory Skills
- Minimum 4 years directly related experience, including SAP Financials and Treasury experience.
- Knowledge in SAP's Treasury payment, position, forecasting, and cash reconciliation processes. Treasury and risk management knowledge including Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate, Debt and Equity, risk analytics, and hedge accounting knowledge considered an Asset.
- Knowledge of Bank-related accounting, Bank Statement, Lockbox, Automatic Payments preferable;
- Minimum 3 years project configuration experience in Financial Supply Chain, Cash Management and Treasury.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, a positive and professional attitude, conflict management and issue resolution skills;
- A results oriented individual who thrives working in a fast paced environment;
SAP FI/Treasury Configuration Analyst Nice to Have Skills
- Experience and configuration skills in FI, CO, GL, AR, AP is considered an asset.
Configuration Experience in:
- Cash Management
- Manual Check Deposit & Bank Statement & Electronic Bank Statements (EBS)
- Creating, configuring, Fixed-Term Deposits Invested
- Creating, configuring, Forward Rate Agreement (FRA)
- Trading with Fixed-Interest Rate Bonds and Stocks
- Cross Currency Interest Rate SWAP
- Supporting Interest Rate/Corporate Finance/International Treasury Desks (Front Office/Back Office/Risk).
